Part of my rationale for this blog is be a better husband to my SAHM wife. How can this blog help? Well, honestly, that's where my readers (all 3 of you!) come in.
Today I'm trying to figure out what your husbands that annoy you as a SAHM. All husbands do stupid things that drive their wives crazy, but I'm talking about SAHM-specific stuff here. It could be not appreciating the amount of work you do. Maybe they pass off all of the kid-related work to you even when they're home.
Whatever it is, I (and my fellow dads) want to know. We can only fix it if we know what we're doing wrong. So don't hold back. Come out with both barrels blasting.

Oh gosh, is there a character limit in the comment box for this one? lol! Nah, not really. One of my biggest pet peeves is that when I ask my hubby to do something, he doesn't hop up to do it. The entire reason I ask him to do something is because a) I want to save time or b) need it done now. It irks the life out of me that he has no gotta-get-it-done-now fire under him. Otherwise he's pretty great. =)
ReplyDeleteHmmm.. I guess one of mine would be that when I ask him to do something, it doesn't always get completed- he'll start, but not finish. Like if I want to take an uninterrupted shower and I ask him to watch the younger kids (3 and 1), I'll start my shower great and then 5- 10 minutes into it, here they come- "well she was asking for you" or "he kept crying for you" are the reasons. That totally drives me nuts, because I feel like you didn't even really try. I also hate it when he asks if I need help with anything, and then I tell him, then he does it grudgingly- or not at all. Why bother to ask? You don't get points for asking, you get points for doing. Asking and not doing just pisses me off.
